Applications are now open for the 2024-25 Diocesan Youth Commission! This body of students represents the Diocese and oversees youth ministry in the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta. High school students who want to grow in their faith and leadership are invited to apply. Click here to see Bishop Wright’s video invitation.

Applications and recommendation letters are due by 11:59pm on Wednesday, April 24.

Join us for breakfast and youth-led worship with Bishop Wright before the 40th annual Hunger Walk Run! Breakfast and worship is in the Magnificent 3 room of the new Hilton Insignia hotel. The Hunger Walk Run will begin at the Home Depot Back Yard beside the hotel (next to Mercedes Benz Stadium).

  • Breakfast @ 9:30a | RSVP here to enjoy a catered breakfast featuring an omelet bar and coffee!
  • Worship @ 10:30a | We’re calling this service “Thank U, Next” — expressing gratitude for our many blessings before we serve others out of our abundance. Join Bishop Wright and students from across the Diocese for Eucharist before the race!
  • Hunger Walk Run | This 5K benefits the Atlanta Community Food Bank and the Episcopal Community Foundation. Check-in begins at noon and the Walk Run begins at 2:00p. You can register to walk with us OR donate here.

Graduates’ friends and families are invited to join the Diocesan Youth Commission for a service and reception to honor our graduating seniors! This year’s Graduation Celebration will be hosted by St. Simon’s Episcopal Church in Conyers, Georgia — join us at 3:30p on Sunday, May 5 for a brief service with Bishop Rob Wright and student preacher Hannah Wuerslin! 

The celebration service will be followed by a snack reception featuring FREE graduate portraits (bring your cap and gown!) and gifts. RSVP Here!

The Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta has created Keep/Watch: Suicide, Christ, and Community. This is a resource to equip people and congregations to practice community-based suicide prevention. This workbook is for anyone who wants to help keep their community safe from suicide. It’s theologically and experientially grounded and informed by peer-reviewed research and evidence-based outcomes.
