Join us for a youth event centered on providing a formational experience for young people that connects the work of social justice and the Gospel. What does it truly mean to love like Jesus? Dr. MLK Jr. challenged the world to live into a vision of sharing the wealth of the earth. In the Beloved Community, poverty, hunger and homelessness will not be tolerated because international standards of human decency will not allow it.
This commitment to Beloved Community will be explored through the use of the Diocesan Youth Purpose Statement, "we believe in forming disciples by sharing the all-inclusive and unconditional love of Jesus Christ." By the formation provided from Becoming Beloved Community, youth will leave ready to pursue unconditional love in action by helping create communities of inclusion, equity, and justice. Once open, registration is available on the calendar page. You can find an event flyer here.
