New Beginnings Steering Committee
The New Beginnings Steering Committee is the leadership group for the New Beginnings Movement in the Diocese of Atlanta. This group of youth and adults meets throughout the year to discuss the it's vitality, to staff the team, and to review each weekend. The youth make up the majority of the Steering Committee to ensure it is always a youth-led movement.

New Beginnings Steering Committee Application
You can apply to join the Steering Committee after New Beginnings. Applications open up 2-3 times a year. We expect the next round to be shortly after the new year. You must be a second semester freshman to apply to join the Steering Committee. You must be able to serve on the Steering Committee until you graduate high school. Applications will be available on this page when open.
Junior Weekend Advisor Application
The Junior Weekend Advisor (JWA) is one of the central leaders of the New Beginnings weekend. This role leads the family group leaders (FGLs), helps the FGLs develop their group identity at Team Training, and lead closing cleanup with the Prayer, Share, and Care Head (PSC).
If one is selected as the JWA, the person must serve as the Observing Junior Weekend Advisor at the previous New Beginnings weekend and observe the previous JWA. This is a 2 weekend commitment. You must be able to fulfill all requirements in order to to serve in the position. Applications will be available on this page when open.

- 2-3 youth grades 10-12th
- Adult members:
- Lay Director
- 2 Weekend Advisors
- Spiritual Director
- Head of Steering Committee
- Secretary
